This 12 week container is an invitation to turn inward, uncover what has been waiting beneath the surface, and discover a deeper relationship with yourself and others.
Why do deep inner reflection in a group setting? Because, as Bell Hooks said, “Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.”
We are each others’ mirrors. And in a world that has worked hard to isolate and suppress women, it is an act of resistance, rebellion, and relief to come together in a deep way. We will be available to the phenomenon that arises in the space where we gather with intention.
Perhaps, “an intimate gathering of women” sounds terrifying to you. Showing up with our whole selves and trusting that we will be seen, held well, cared for, appreciated, embraced… it’s a big risk. Every woman I know longs for deep communion and community, and so few have it.
Why? Because it requires skill and scaffolding. That is some of what I provide in this group.
This is part group therapy, part witches coven, part middle-school healing for midlife women.
First, we will learn to hold ourselves in a new way. We will free up some of the energy we normally spend on masking, and redirect that to expanding our capacity to be with ourselves more fully.
Next, we get to be a witness and we get to bear witness. This is a two-way honor and a sacred privilege.
Together we will co-create a safe and sacred container for truth and trust. We will turn toward what has been overlooked or left in the shadows, and through curiosity, compassion and that magical alchemy of communion, we will unfurl the parts of you that are ready to shine through.
Join us as we create the space to illuminate what has been hidden and to meet ourselves and each other more authentically.
The group will meet on Wednesdays from 9:30-11am, starting on September 16th and meeting weekly through mid December.
The group max is 7 women.
